Can you say Old Trafford?

5/14/11

Chad and I woke up this morning five minutes before we were to be on the bus to head to Preston. We hurried and made it to the bus. I was lucky to sit next to Kandace on the way over. We had a fun time talking, but I do not think she enjoyed my company. Ha! I doubt it! I am a fun person to talk to; at least I think I am. The bus ride was about four hours. We were able to stay on the temple ground in Preston as we prepared for the temple and for church the next day. The temple was sweet!

I took about twenty pictures, but Harsh and Adam, convinced me to go to Manchester. We walked to the train station, but did not believe that we would actually make it. We finally arrived to the station and did not believe that we would go, but Professor Kimball walked up as he was heading to the store and told us that we would never be able to do this again. So we did! We bought tickets and headed over to the train that we were to ride. We got on the train to Manchester Airport. We arrived to Percaddli. We got off and headed to a connecting tram, but we got on the wrong tram. We thought it went by color and we did not see the name of the train stop on the front of the train. After twenty minutes of riding in the wrong direction, we got off and then headed to the other side of the station to get onto the next train to where we were going. We finally arrived to our stop at Old Trafford. We took pictures and walked into the store and bought some items! I bought a scarf representing Manchester United!  After about thirty minutes of having the greatest experience, we went back to the tram and went back to Percaddli. We arrived back to the hotel an hour later, exhausted. That night, the whole group played Mafia to the point that we were ticked at people for not making the right choice.
